Republicans want American voters to buy a lipsticked pig in a poke?
Not exactly. The GOP wants voters to adopt an untrained pitbull with muzzle gloss.
There’s a huge problem with that. Pitbulls are notoriously unstable and aggressive. They’re the bullies of the dog park.
Violence and bloodlust--not trust and compassion--are words you associate with pitbulls.
Pitbulls and cowboys are much alike. They both shoot first and ask questions later—such as attacking Iraq without legitimate reasons and without a postwar plan.
And they’re puppets for evil masterminds like Michael Vick and Karl Rove, respective dog and Dubya abusers.
Couple a quick-tempered presidential nominee and a hotheaded veep nominee and you’re guaranteed numerous domestic and foreign dogfights if they’re elected in November. (14 SEPTEMBER 2008)
