But one pricey item is: The assault rifle.
Yes, the weapon designed to terminate entire populations. The weapon used for mass murders at American malls, schools and ghetto neighborhoods.
What sparked this rush to pay $1,350 for a semiautomatic military clone capable of spraying dozens of bullets at shoppers, students and homeboys?
Statements by President-elect Barack Obama supporting reinstating the expired assault-rifle ban because such weapons belong on battlefields, not American streets.
Makes sense. Assault rifles aren’t used for hunting, target practice or self-defense. They’re used only for the wholesale slaughter of human beings.
On the other hand, another Obama gun stance is all wet. He wants to repeal legislation that restricts police from releasing the names of persons with concealed-weapons permits.
