Forget America’s clueless birthers, deathers and teabaggers for the moment.
Think instead of mindless Second Amendmenters who show up at public congressional and presidential forums openly packing semi-automatic pistols and rifles to intimidate First Amendmenters.
They carry signs declaring “It is time to water the tree of liberty,” a Thomas Jefferson quote promising violence against tyrants.
And posting YouTube videos threatening “to forcefully resist people imposing their will on us through the strength of majority.”
Federal laws describe those activities as domestic terrorism, yet the weapon-wielders get free passes because carrying heat openly is not against the law in most public venues.
Up to now, casually sporting guns in public was restricted to the Middle East, Texas and other armpits of the world.
