What’s not to like about Glenn Beck losing 50-plus commercial sponsors for his radio/cable programs?

The Fixed News host prompted the advertiser boycott by accusing President Obama of being a racist.

Beck, a recovering alcoholic Mormon, spouts all kinds of outrageous right-wing crap between frequent bouts of the weepies.

So what’s so bad about corporations not wanting their products to be associated with a facist blowhard?

Next thing you know, those same corporations will pull out of sponsoring any programs pushing political or social points of view.

That would be big trouble for the folks at MSNBC and Air America, voices of liberal and moderate positions on issues.

Imagine being forced to get commentaries on sensitive issues only on public radio and television. (6 SEPTEMBER 2009)
