Liarman--once a pioneer for the public option and lowering the age for Medicare eligibility--now is adamantly opposed to those proposals.
He's clearly getting even for Democrats rejecting him as a nominee for president and for opposing his re-election in Connecticut.
Liarman started his vendetta after switching politically to independent status and then fiercely supporting Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz) for president during the last general election.
The blatant shill for Aetna and other healthcare insurance corporations should never have been considered one of the 60 votes needed for filibuster-proof passage of vital legislation.
And because of his betrayals, Liarman should never have been allowed to caucus with Democrats and be given membership or chairmanship of any important committee or subcommittee.
