Thought you'd like to know that several words have been added to the Merriam-Webster dictionary.
New entries aren't supposed to be accepted unless they're widely used in society. Yeah, sure.
Apparently catering to the interest in Pippa Middleton's greatest asset, the word badonkadonk has now reached epic usage.
Its origins are disputed, however.
Some say it was coined by ebonics fans as an alternative to booty. Some credit the lyrics of a country music song about scantily clad barmaids.
Still others say badonkadonk really is the name of a new custom-made tank.
But wait. Also accepted into the modern lexicon are whackadoodle and badassery.
Wouldn't you use strange person and great courage rather than those terms? Of course you would.
It's enough to make one stick one's head between one's legs and kiss one's badonkadonk goodbye. (5 JUNE 2011)
