Power corrupts all political persuasions. Public office frequently gives holders a false sense of entitlement, of being above the rules affecting everyone else.
Hence the public self-humiliation of U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY), a 14-year veteran of the House of Representatives.
Weiner, a glib, intelligent belligerent toward everything Right Wing, destroyed his political ambitions for higher office by electronically sending images of his boxer woodies to six or so loose ladies during the past three years.
Apparently even after marrying a top former Hillary Clinton aide, Huma Abedin, who happens to be pregnant with their first child.
The congressman has refused to resign after publically apologizing profusely to his constituents and wife.
