John "Boner" Boehner (R-Ohio), weeper of the U.S. House of Representatives, has something real to bawl about.

Scores of his freshman colleagues--the tea party cult--keep foiling his attempts to broker a reasonable extension of America's debt limit.

They want the country to default on its debts next Tuesday, believing the resulting fiscal crisis will doom President Obama's reelection hopes.

At least one of the "baby bizarros," as Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) calls them, is an expert in defaulting.

Teabagger Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) owes $117,437 in back child support, according to his ex-wife. He and the mother of their three children have been divorced since 2002.

Walsh, claiming to be too broke to pay support, managed to loan his 2010 campaign $35,000, pay himself back $14,200 and take two international vacations with his girlfriend.

The deadbeat dad earns $174,000 a year (plus under-the-table benefits, of course) to represent his northeast Illinois district. (31 JULY 2011)
