Talk about hypocrisy.

U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.). chairman of the House Oversight Committee, accuses U.S. Atty. Gen. Eric Holder of criminal contempt of Congress and of covering up criminal behavior in the Obama Administration.

Complete nonsense, of course. Political theater, of course.

Issa should recognize authentic criminality when he sees it. After all, he has several criminal indictments, arrests, prosecutions and convictions of his own.

He was accused of stealing a car in 1971 and indicted for stealing another in 1972. Issa successfully blamed his brother for those thefts.

Issa, who looks and acts like Il Duce with hair, also was accused of arson and carrying a concealed weapon, for which he received probation and a fine.

His biggest claim to fame--other than amassing a personal fortune of $450 million in the electronics industry--was inventing the security devise that warns you to "step away from the car."

Issa's wealth makes him the one percent of Congress, a bastion of millionaires. (24 JUNE 2012)
