Vampires have it all over zombies in one important undead venue: broadcast commercials.

For one thing, zombies can't talk; they grunt. Zombies don't walk; they lurch.

Vampires wear formal attire. Zombies wear untidy clothes stained with various body fluids and guts.

Zombies have no sense of humor. In fact, they have no sense at all.

Vampires enjoy self-deprecating banter involving their relentless cravings for plasma replenishment. Zombies enjoy only consuming fresh flesh.

GEICO, Nutri-Grain and Audi all have produced knee-slapping commercials involving a vampire, a vampire family and a beach party of teen vampires.

GEICO and Nutri-Grain employed traditional vampires with foreign accents, lisps and chalked skin. Audi's adolescent vampires only used fangs as props.
