When you say "bully" in Congress you mean U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.).
Foes of Issa, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, refer to him as Il Douche.
That's because he closely resembles and acts like a scowling Il Duce, Benito Mussolini--the late pompous dictator of Italy from 1922-43.
Mussolini, known for his strut and lantern jaw, was captured by partisans and killed at the close of World War II.
Issa, a Lebanese-American, is also pompous, struts and has a lantern jaw.
Worth some $450 million, Issa made his fortune in the car-alarm industry. He also has been accused of insurance fraud, auto theft and carrying a concealed weapon.
Issa takes no prisoners in politics or any other arena. He is meanness personified.
He won't just shut off your microphone. He may just shut off your windpipe.
