Stop interviewing illiterate athletes on camera.
Publish their comments in print only, after all the "you knows" are edited out.
And while you're at it, don't show athletes constantly licking their lips on camera. It's disgusting.

Professional jocks are, sadly, seen as American heroes, as American role models, as the "best of the best" only because of their physical skills.
Even though most of them are college dropouts, incapable of stringing words into a complete sentence void of "you knows" and other verbal crutches.
It's no wonder that America is fast becoming a failed state where prowess on the court or field is valued more than intellectual smarts.
