Most terrifying thing about growing old is wrinkles.
Once part of a hard body rippling with muscles, your antiquated skin turns into a textured mass of creases resembling dermal ridges and valleys.
Old skin sags under chin and arms, while earlobes and scrotal sac elongate.
Dormant male mammary glands enlarge and droop. And jowls jiggle for no reason.
It's utterly terrifying. You can hide man bras and diapers under clothes, but wrinkles are seen by God and everyone.
Wrinkles are a human condition. But animals are spared because of body fur or hair.
Vets determine the age of an animal by looking at its teeth. Since many seniors no longer have teeth, their age is estimated by wrinkles.
