Death Penalty

Formed in early 97 as a young & inexperienced four piece consisting of (Co-founder) Trevor   Stillwell-bass,Shawn Holmes-vocals & Larry Barclay-drums .Death Penalty relentlessly marketed  themselves  into underground  by pushing  their debut demo "Bitter" with  an overabundance of flyers  and ads .
By doing  this the band  became  some what know(but sadly enough like the most young
ban do ) had not convincingly turned  to many heads with their one dimensional   embryonic stage  sound .Realizing  that a change  was  badly needed  to elevate them  to the next level.

Brutal Hardcore Death Metal right through your innards, with devastating vocals and heavy guitars, a blasting drum explosion and heavy guitar riffs which makes Death Penalty one of the most promising bands in the American Hardcore Metal scene.

The band saw it fit   to put  Trevor Stillwell back   on lead guitar & to further   seek  out more  experienced  and madure  musicians .Enter   longtime  local mainstays  Vinny Crudo -bass & Lonnie Leyden-drums.
With this line up  intact for a fully  year the  newly refreshed  and revitalized five piece proceeded  back into DML  studios  to record   their first full length album CONVICTION .By effectivily  utilizing  the talents of lead guitarist  Trevor Stillwell's tasteful of Paul Diamond , toppled   by thre unique  voclas style of Shawn Holmes  and the solid  song structuring  outfitts  in the metal/hardcore world today.
