Fall
1993: Marita (Guitar) & Miriam (Drums) established the band SACRALIS
1994: Nadja (Bass) is joining Sacralis. In Dec. ‘94 we played our first concert in
the old line-up with singer Britt Mauer
95/96: After a few concerts in the area of Stuttgart, we got a new member (Bianca Hiller /
Keyboards). At this time, she was a beginner at the keyboards.
On the 10.06.1996 we played our last concert with Britt Mauer (vocals) as a support for
‘EXPLOITED’ in a club called ‘Die Röhre’ in Stuttgart.The reason why
she left the band was professional kind. Since this summer, Marita Kircher (Guitar) does
the vocals, too.
In fall 1996, we started to produce our first demo tape ‘abstract
metamorphosis’.
After play up the drums, Miriam flew to Sydney/
Australia for a 3month practical training and worked
there in an office.
Summer 1997: the first edition of 100 tapes was sould
out. We resolved to produce a second edition before we start to produce bortaS. |
Sacralis is new for me but I hope from now on keep
following their works. From Germany you can expect always good bands practicing generally
Black/Thrash or Melodic Death, but a band which practices a Brutal Death Metal full of
strength and aggressiveness has arisen. What is surprising is that it is composed of four
women (now they’re three) who hammer their instruments without fear nor compassion,
with a surprising guttural vocals, slow and heavy rhythms and well structured which remind
us to the old school of Death Metal. Bortas is an excellent MCD with excellent quality
proving that this group knows what it does.
In June 1998 we produced our Mini-CD bortaS in tRItONUS Studio in
Ludwigsburg.
Between ‘96-’98: we played many local concerts in the german
underground. And also we played some concerts with bands like Krabathor, Atrocity &
Sinister.
January 1999: Bianca (Keyboards) has left the band, because she got problems with her
health. Now we play without Keyboards live, and Nadja will play the Keyboardlines on the
next CD which will be released in the end of 1999.
