"B understands that the way to effect this cure is to get people to spread the "virus" of this new understanding. So that Ishmael tells his pupil: Reach a hundred with what I've taught you and encourage them to reach a hundred. And I add to this, Reach ten if you can't reach a hundred and reach one if you can't reach ten--- because you never know when that one will reach a million...the more you know---the more effective you will be in reaching people." Daniel Quinn
"When six billion of you refuse to teach your children how to be prisoners of Taker culture, this awful dream of yours will be over---in a single generation. It can only continue for as long as you perpetuate it." from My Ishmael by Daniel Quinn.
Breastfeed and do it for a long time. You will know that the child is done when he no longer asks to nurse. Expect to nurse from 3 to 7 years.
Sleep with your child. Like all mammals, human infants need to be close to the mother. The need to sleep close to others never disappears.
Keep your baby in arms. Use a sling or another carrier that you find comfortable. Keep your child close. Babies thrive on the stimulation and the comfort.
Unschool your child. Permit your child to learn what pleases him. Permit him to be part of your daily work---to observe, imitate and participate.
