The 14th Students' Council took office on 13th August 1997. Our work schedule was always tight as we were constantly planning, preparing and organising events and functions for the college.
We began with the arduous Clean Canteen Campaign, that appealed to all AJCians to do their bit in maintaining a clean and pleasant canteen environment. Then came the culturally enriching exchange witth Japanese students from Senan City and St Michael's High School of Kobe, the concert for Teachers' Day and the teary Farewell Assembly for the graduating class of '96.
Of course, we cannot leave out the highlight of the year 1998. - Orientation 1 and 2. Other projects included the heartwarming Friendship Week Celebrations, the early morning College Mini Broadcasting Station and the unveiling of hidden crooners and songbirds during Talentime '98. These activities were only some of the many projects aimed at fostering a sense of identity amongst all AJCians.
