Hong Kong 1999This picture is taken in Shatin in the New Territories. Coincidentally the day we were there, there was a flower exhibition but because we were on a relatively tight schedule, we gave it a miss. This place is known as Tsang Tai Uk and it's also sited in the New Territories. Finding this place is challenging. I remember we took around 2-3 hours to find this place as it's not well marked. However, this walled village is a very good example of traditional Hakka dwellings though the people who are still living here are more elderly. This Waterfront Promenade in Tsimshatsui is one of the more well known places in Hong Kong as from here you can have a panoramic viewpoint of Hong Kong Island on the opposite shore but as you can see in the picture , it was a little hazy the day we were there. This street is known as Hollywood Street and it's located somewhere near Lan Kwai Fong in Central. This is the place to go to if you are into antique collections . This street is the famous Nathan Road which stretches from Tsimshatsui in the south to beyond Mongkok where we lived. Along the road are various shops selling almost anything you would wanna buy. At the Ladies Market in Mongkok. The three of us at Ocean Park.
