Does it get any better... Widening the roads?... Does that help?...
Each year how many new cars and drivers are added to increase the carnage...

How many hours a year do citizens sit inside there preacious vehicles waiting for their turn to get mashed...

Do we need new leadership?... Do we need a solution?...
Or is this up to the individual?... You probably think that rideing the bus is something only losers do?...
Well the mind boggling truth is bus riders have been looking out the windows at accidents ever since there were Buses...

So ride the bus... It's exercise at the bus stops... More healthy walking and standing...
And your not alone on a bus... After awhile you become a part of the greater bus rideing community...

Joy and happiness slowly overtakes you... You become a part of the solution... Not a part of the problem...

If you think a young mother and child being killed because she followed another car around a railroad crossing
barrier is better than bus rideing, then I am wasting my time here...
Ride the bus...

Help the USA... Become a better person rather than a cripple or an obit...

Every day and night the sirens are heard as emergency vehicles hasten to vehicler accidents in all our populated areas...

Where are we going???...

People sit in their vehicles 20+ hours a week...
They sit at traffic lights... They sit in conjested traffic jams...
And most sit there alone - by them selves...
Is there a better way???...

Buses save lives...
Each person that rides the bus takes another car off the road... The less cars the safer it is to get from place to place...

Today I saw an automobile accident from the bus I was rideing. ..
Yesterday I saw another bad accident...
The big older car had a damaged left front fender...
The smaller car was really badley damaged with a fireman standing there by the opened door as a ambulance arrived...
Someone injured how bad I don't know... Really a nightmare all those innocent people then bam and another causulty of modern technology...

Which Country has the highest per capita number of wheel chairs...
Just common sense and Reading the Newspaper tells me...

No auto insurance to buy...
No more filling up at the gas stations all the time...
No changeing flat tires...
No more dirt and grime under your finger nails...
No more traffic and parking tickets to deal with...
No fender bender repairs or worse...
Like who really needs a wheel chair that bad all their life...
Buses are looking better all the time [smile]...

Last week a young girl was killed locally in a bicycle - car accident...
Saw 3 young girls rideing the bus enjoying the freedom of the ride and each others company...
Then I remembered a young girl in a wheelchair on the phone crying...
SHE HAD NO LEGS...

Today I was thinking about a picture of the chinese people rideing their bicycles to work over a bridge early in the morning...
I thought this was a beautiful scene... As I stand here waiting on a bus and watching all the cars and trucks, I wish that this was all over, as it will be someday; and everyone would be walking or rideing bicycles...

October 20, 1999...
Today, while rideing the bus, I glanced over at a man reading the newspaper...
I saw that a 12 year old girl was killed by a van... Also another truck/auto accident resulted in a death...
Two deaths on the page of the newspaper that I was looking at...
Is today going to be your #number... Is fate going to end your existance today... How many car trips can you get away with before you are the accident scene???...
Ride the bus... Let fate wait on somebody else...

After rideing the bus for a few years I conclude that bus rideing makes me feel more alive...
Especially more alive than sitting in an automobile...
Even this morning with the temperature around freezing I stood there at the bus stop knowing that I was doing the best thing I could do under present day circumstances...
The worst thing I could do would be to give a graduating young person an automobile...

A certain gentleman wished to know all there is to know. So he traveled to the high mountains of Tibet. Finally in a cave high up on a mountain he found this elderly wise man.
