Caramel Pecan Cheesecake

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 cup pecan halves
16 ounces cream cheese -- softened
1/4 cup brown sugar twin
1/4 cup splenda sweetener
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 large eggs
-Finely chop & toast 1/2 cup of the pecans.Sprinkle on the crust of choice.Set aside.
-Beat the cream cheese, sweeteners,vanilla & eggs; pour into prepared 8" crust{optional}
-Arrange the pecan halves in a circle around the edge of the pie.
-Bake at 325 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until set.
-Cool well then refrigerate until ready to serve.

You can drizzle this with a low carb caramel sauce or make your own caramel sauce which is very tricky but I have made one. Cannot currently find the caramel recipe so that will have to come later.
