TO MAKE WAFFLE CONES*************************
Make waffles using the following recipe:*******************
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup water
3 TBS vegetable oil
3 eggs
1/2 cup Protein 95
1/4 cup soy flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 TBS Splenda
2 tsp baking powder
1 TBS wheat gluten
Mix all this together and pour 1/2 cup of mixture onto waffle iron. Makes 6 full size waffles. My waffle iron is a round one and has 4 grids so to speak. Each grid would be perfect for a hamburger bun, so you get 4 slices per waffle.... To make dessert waffles just use chocolate Protein 95, and serve with whipped cream and strawberries:) Also if you use the vanilla Pro 95 you could serve with a helping of my fruit compote and whipped cream....Thanks to you all for coming up with the waffle idea...have not used a waffle iron in years....
Take a cooled round waffle and place it between 2 sheets of waxed papaer and gently roll to flatten, being careful not to tear it, this may take a little practice. Brush the edges of the waffle with egg white. Take a piece of aluminum foil and bunch it into a cone shape. Wrap your waffle around this cone shape and rebrush seam with egg white. Lay cone seam side down on cookie sheet and bake @375* for 5 min. (This depends on your oven and how thin you have rolled cone) Cone should hold it's shape when done and cooled and you remove foil....
