 
I grew up in Oregon, GOD'S Country,my Father was a log truck driver, since retired. My mother was a stay at home Mom.(loved it, it was nice to come home to her smiling face everyday.) Then when we got out of high school, she went back to school and has worked at the same hospital for 23 years, she just retired December 1999....I moved to the midwest 21 years ago. (needed to spread my wings :) Met my husband a year later after about 6 weeks we were married. (and they said it would not last :+) ) I got saved, February 18, 1988, at 9:30 a.m.(but who is keeping records :+). Boy was that a load off my back, you know how you feel right afterwards. God loved me, imperfections and all. I was going to this church and going to everything they offered. Then I started listening real hard. The things I had read in the bible and what this minister was saying did not mesh. I was confused. So I backslided. Then in June 1995, we went on a trip to visit some friends, from Washington state, that happened to be visiting relatives not to far from us, I had not seen them in about 10 or so years. They both had become Christians since the last time I saw them. Oh boy, this will be great I thought. But I got up there and they had a glow that made me curious. So we discussed it and I soon found out it was God's presence in them that I saw glowing. I wanted that. So when I got home, I found my bible, dusted it off, looked for the passages again, and rededicated my life back to Jesus, June 23, 1995. Praise God for loving me so much. On December 31, 1995 I was baptized... Well, that is my story....All I know is that God has done wonderful things in my life, and my families lives. He has loved us througheverything and comforted us through the painful times. He is an AWESOME GOD!!!!!!!!
