God has truly blessed me
with our love so true and rare;
your smiling face, your cheerful voice
to comfort and to care.
Each time we are together
and even when apart,
your loving thoughts and tender words
leave footprints on my heart.
Our lives are not that different,
as strange as that all seems;
we both have hearts full of wishes,
and baskets full of dreams.
When reflecting upon my memories,
and I go along life's way;
