Q: I think Yvonne Suhor, who plays “Lou McCloud’ on The Young Riders is terrific! I was wondering- has she always worn her hair short, like it is right now?

A: As a matter of fact, no! Yvonne recently spoke with BOP about the subject, and the 5’3” tall actress informed us that prior to her work on TYR, she had long auburn tresses well past her shoulders! “At the audition for the show, I had my hair in a braid down my back, so the producers didn’t know I had long hair!” laughs Yvonne. “Later, they saw me in the hallway with my hair down and all fluffed- that’s when they told me that if I got the role, I’d have to cut it all off!” Even though the hazel-eyed gal now loves her short bob, Yvonne told us that when the scissors first cut off her locks, she began crying! Yet as TYR gallops into its second season, Yvonne’s sacrifice seems well worth it- proving this talented actress is definitely a ‘cut’ above the rest!
