Born as LeAnn Arline Ehtridge she has a twin neamed Lynnette Helen. They started calling eachother Lee and Lynn when they first learned how to talk. (The nicknames were easier to say)
LeAnn’s parents had a Romeo and Juliet Romanace. Their parents disaproved of their choice for a mate and disowned them, leaving two verry pampered people to live a poor life. This however did not discurage them and they bought a small farm to garden their own vegetables. Even the birth of LeAnn and Lynnette did not help the grandparetns see reason. When LeAnn was 10, their mother deid of Yellow Fever, and tradagy struck again when a band of hostile Indains killed her father when she was 15. The sisters found out they had grandparents in Denver. They sold the farm and bought a ticket on the stage to Denver, however when they got there, their grandparents refused to akknowdge their exsitance insisting that they their son died 20 years before. While in Denver the girls decieded to try to go to shcool to become a dr. and a vet. Little did they know that they needed money for this and they had none. They saw a sign for Pony Express Riders and since Lee was the smallest and fastest rider of the two girls they decieded that Lee would try to get a job with the Express. So she cut off her long beuitful tresses and signed up for the express. Since Lee had a job, the school enrolled Lynn as a nursing student (She couldn't be a dr. because she was a woman.)
While at the Sweetwater station she met James Buttler Hickok and intenstantly fell head over hills. However, since she was suposed to be a boy, she couldn't do anything about her feelings. After everyone found out that she was a girl, Jimmy started to "court" or "date" Lee. However, will the "Wild Bill" reputation get in the way of this new found love? Are Lee and Jimmy ment to be together as Soul Mates? To find this out you need to read Another Reality.
