This is how I make it, so don't be alarmed if it's not the kind you slice”!”
Ingredients:
Hamburger (2 or 3 pounds)
1 or 2 eggs
1 can tomato sauce
1 can stewed tomatoes
crackers (½ - 1 pound, crushed)
1 or 2 onions (depending how many you want, or
omit)
milk (about ¼ cup)
Turn on oven to 350° Take a large pan or oven-proof bowl. Mix all ingredients together in the pan (bowl). Use enough crackers so mixture is not runny; it won't be real thick, either. Put it in the oven and bake for approx. 1 hour. (It depends on how much you make, and how deep the pan is.)

cheese (grated; mozarella, jack, cheddar)
spices (to taste; garlic powder, salt, pepper,any
other favorite seasoning)
vegetables (your choice)

potatoes (diced)
Make 2 hamburger patties. Put a small amount of the
cheese and vegetables on one of the patties. Season
to taste. Take the second patty place over the top
of the mixture. Pinch sides of the two patties
together. Hint: Make the second (top) patty a
little larger than the bottom one. Wrap with
aluminum foil and bake about 1/2 hour, or until
done. The oven should be pre-set to 350°.
This is
good for CAMPING, too.
potatoes, mashed (1 per serving)
bologna (1 slice
per boat)
chedar cheese (1 slice per boat
1/2
sice bacon for each boat
Place bologna slices on a cookie sheet. Have the oven on broil. Place the bologna slices in the oven. Watch them carefully. It takes about 1-2 minutes. When the bologna pieces curl up into a bowl shape, take out of the oven. Fill each bologna piece with mashed potatoes. Place a slice of cheese/and or a slice of bacon on each boat. Place back into the oven. They are done when the cheese and bacon are cooked to your desired taste.

1/4 cube butter
salt
cheese (1 slice
per potato)
bacon (1 slice per potato)
Bake potatoes in 350° oven for 1 hour. After the potatoes are done, cut each potato in half. Scoop the potato from the skin. Be careful not to damage the skin. Use milk, butter and salt with the potato to make mashed potatoes. Fill each skin with the mashed potatoes. Place on a cookie sheet. Add cheese and/or bacon to the top of each filled shell. Broil in the oven until the bacon is cooked and the cheese is melted.
ingredients:
1 quart blackberries
2 quarts water
1 - 2 cups sugar (sweeten to taste)
2 cups baking mix (such as Bisquick)
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
Put water, 1-2 c. sugar, and berries in a 6 quart saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil. While your waiting for it to boil, mix baking mix, milk, and remaining sugar in a bowl. Drop the mixture by spoonful into the boiling berries. The larger the spoonful, the larger the dumplings. Cook uncovered for approx 10 min. Cover and cook about 10 more minutes. BE SURE TO TURN THE HEAT DOWN, or it will boil over”!” Some like it HOT, some like it COLD”!”
ingredients:
2 c. sugar
4 t. baking powder
1 t. salt
2 c. flour
1 1/3 c. milk
2 c. berries (or other fruit)
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. boiling water butter
butter
Mix the dry ingredients (first 4)
Add milk, and mix
Pour in greased 8 1/2" X 11" pan
Add fruit
Add remaining sugar
Dot with butter
Bake in 350° oven for approx. 45 minutes
ingredients:
1 box vanilla wafers (finely crushed)
SAVE THE BOX
1 bag marshmallows
1 jar
maraschino cherries
raisins
nuts
1 can
evaporated milk
Melt marshmallows with milk, slowly, over a low heat. Add wafers. Mix well. Add cherries, nuts, and raisins. Cut wafer box on three sides, so it opens up. Press mixture into the box.
ingredients:
1 3/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 1/2
t. baking powder
1 t. salt
3/4 c. grape nut
cereal
2/3 c. dried apricots (chopped)
1 1/4 c.
milk
1 egg (well beaten)
2 T. oil
Mix sugar, flour, salt and baking powder. Stir in cereal and apricots. Blend milk, egg, and oil. Add flour mixture, stirring just long enough to moisten the flour. Pour into a 9 x 5 greased loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour (or until done) in a 350° oven. Remove from oven and let it cool for 10 min before removing from pan. HINT: For easier slicing, store bread overnite, wrapped in wax paper, plastic wrap, or aluminum foil.
