The Carnival Will Always Come Back
The sky was light blue with fluffy clouds in it. I was walking in the woods
near my house. It was Autumn. It just wasn’t the same without them. It had
been a couple of months since shed seen the group. They were so weird but I
cared for them so much. A wind picked up my long blond hair in the wind. I
could remember that horrible fight. They’re last fights. I could remember it
like it was yesterday.

“ NO! Guys wake up!” Sailor Moon screamed as she saw her friends drop to the
ground by an attack. The inner and outer senshi lay still on the ground not
moving a muscle. I went over to Jupiter who had taken the full blast, which
saved my life.
“ Jupiter... wake up. I need you. All of you!” I whispered as I started to
cry.
I cried for a minute then I felt a fingure brush a tear away. I opened my
eyes to see Jupiter smiling at me.
“ Don’t cry...Bunny.” She said with a shaky breath.
“ Don’t talk! Save your energy. I’ll heal you all.” But before I could
raise
my wand she grabs my hand.
“ No don’t. It’s our time now. It was like yesterday we all came to planet
Earth to protect you. It was like a carnival moving in. But now it’s moving
out. Remember that the carnival always comes back.” Jupiter smiled one more
smile. Her eyes started to close and before she heaved her last breath a
single crystal tear went down her cheek. Her hand fell from my face and she
didn’t breath. All my best friends were gone now. Suddenly I felt air. I
looked down to see Jupiter dissolving into colorful bubbles. Everyone else
was dissolving into bubbles too. I started to cry. Now I was really alone. I
was getting ready to leave. But something happened. The tear Jupiter shed
formed a crystal teardrop. It floated up from the ground. I held it in her
hand carefully. I stopped crying. I felt a surge of energy flow to me. I
stood up an aura of light surrounding me. The tear disappeared and
reappeared on my neck. Like a necklace. I shot a beam of light at Galixa and
she was toast.
“ Good bye my friends.”

I was sitting a rock looking at the sky. I fingered my tear drop necklace.
‘I’ll never take it off’ I thought.
It was already sunset. Then I heard a soft singing voice. It came out of no
where. She was singing something I didn’t know.
When I think about the first time (first time)
Thought I found someone who cared for me
But things were not as they appeared to be
Rainy day man
On your shoulder I cry
When my first brush with love
Left me shaking inside
Rainy day man
I couldn’t tell where it was coming from. I think the wind was caring it. I
got up and listened hard.
Ever since I can remember
Just like a brother you were strong and true
Always been the one to see me through
It was coming in the direction the lake was. I started running as fast as I
could. When I neared the lake I slowed down and herd the soft voice again.
Rainy day man
Your much more than a friend
I would give anything just to see you again
Rainy day man
I walked the rest of the way. I followed the song to the beginning of the
dock. There I saw a young girl soaking her feet in the water. Her hair was a
Chestnut brown just like Lita’s. Her hair flowed in the wind like mine. She
began again not noticing me.
All ways been the one to see me through
Rainy day man
On your shoulder I cry
When my first brush with love
Left me shaking inside
Rainy day man
You’re much more than a friend
I would give anything
Just to see you again
Rainy day
Rainy day
Rainy day
Rainy day
Man
Even though I didn’t know that song I felt like I did. I fingered my tear
drop necklace. I had the urge to go over and talk to her. But I stayed put.
I looked at the girl again. She still didn’t notice me. My heart told me to
go talk to her. I hesitated a moment. It urged me to go. So I did. I walked
down the end of the dock where the girl was sitting. She still didn’t notice
me. I mustered up my courage and said something.
“ That was a lovely song. You have the most beautiful voice I’ve ever heard.
You sound like one of my best friends.” I looked at her.
She said nothing. It was silent for a long time. Then she finally said
something.
“ Thank you, Serena.” The girl said getting up from her seat but still not
facing me.
I gasped. She knew my name! I was about to ask a question when she
interrupted me.
“ The carnival is coming back, Serena. I’m the first.”
“ That’s what Lita said before she...” I trailed off.
“ Lita...” was all I could manage. I was starting to cry.
The girl turned around and smiled at me. It was Lita! I threw my arms around
her waist and started to cry for joy. She hugged me back. She was back! She
really was back!
“ Like I said before I died. The carnival will always return.”
I smiled up at her. She was right. The carnival will always come back.
The end.
