The True Daughter of the Nine Moons
by Vandelay

Last night I had a dream, but it was no ordinary dream. It revealed the biggest secret that RJ is keeping from us. I know it will sound crazy to you, but please don't scoff. I am a dream expert and always dream the total truth. I know that probably won't convince you about the validity of my claims, but we shall see, oh yes cold cruel world, we shall see. And then I will dance around the town in a toga made of psychodelic daisies!

We all know Mat will marry the Daughter of the 9 Moons, who many believe is Tuon. I humbly submit that this is WRONG! The DoT is none other than Verin, that wily woman who seems to have a finger in everything.

I see that look of disbelief on your face. You can't hide it from me, you big doubting Thomas you!

No one knows where Verin is from. She has obviously not taken the 3 oaths, since she can lie. We don't even know who's side she is working on. She doesn't act like she is from Randland. Any good Randlander would know better than to channel in a stedding.

So she must be from Seanchan. She can't be from Shara or the Mad Man Island. It is a simple process of deduction.

How? Why? She has been here long before the invasion.

Think about it. Wouldn't they have sent spies? She is their first wave of spies. She was very powerful in their royal court, so powerful that she was above the Empress. She is the Daughter of the 9 Moons, above all laws. She, of course, was not a damane, but a damane owner. I can't remember what they are called. She was one smart peanut butter coookie, though, and knew the secret. Any damane handler could be caged.

When the top military officials of Seanchan decided the time was ripe to send reconassiace to Randland she, being the highest official, volunteered to go. Everyone told her no, but she was able to convince them to obey her every whim. She had learned compulsion well.

When she arrived in Randland she bided her time, eventually killed all her helpers, and integrated herself into the White Tower. What a perfect place to run the coming war from.

Now that the war has begun she must rendevouz with her people. They will once again hail her as the great Mistress of their society. They will give her any gift she so desires and she will chose Mat, their captive. If she is married to the best friend of the Savior of the World she really will be the most powerful woman alive.

That, my friends, will all happen in Winter's Heart. I'd bet my copy of the overpriced prolouge on it.
