Halloween 2002 I had 2 costumes, one for work, one for the party. As most of my friends know, I am a huge Buffy the Vampire
Slayer fan (the show, not her specifically--well, Spike specifically, but ANYway..), and so I decided for my work costume to as "Buffy:The Later Years". You know,
after she gets older and that middle-age weight starts creeping in...but still looks good in pleather. ;) For my party...well, honestly, I had a hard time coming up with ideas.
Then I looked at my car. (No, I'm not going as my car) I decided to go as one of my bumper stickers. :) Well, not the bumper stickers itself, of course. I have a sticker on my
bumper that says "Queen of Evil", so that's what I went as. My roommate at the time, the lovely Rebecca, who can be seen in the Halloween 2001 pics, is made it for me, as I am
sadly unskilled in the ways of thread and needle. And guess what? For the first time in awhile, it's *not* black and purple! :) It was black and burgundy.
Halloween 2001 I was a Dark Fairy.
I got almost the *entire* costume off of Ebay, a piece at a time. :) I, of course, put the pieces all together myself: A black fairy skirt, kinda tutu like, a black sparkly
tank top, black and purple PVC fairy (ok, bat..) wings, fishnets, and a black and purple wand that I found at Fred Meyer that totally went with the costume.
Oh, and I drew vines and flowers up my arms with body glitter pens.
Halloween 2000 I was a Dark Angel, part of an Angel triad with my friends Jeff "Fallen Angel" and Ian "Mischief Angel".
Anyway, I wore an awesome black dress that I bought off of Ebay, huge black feather wings, a black maribou feather halo, and dramatic makeup. My husband Quentin, unique as ever, was a Jamaican Drug Lord Voodoo Priest.

Halloween 1999 I was several things: Friday I was the Queen of Black Velvet...I wore black velvet bellbottom stretch pants, a black velvet shirt,
and my black velvet Ozzy cape. And a crown, of course. Saturday I was the Queen of Night, wearing my moon and star leotard from my Night Angel costume, the black velvet pants again, and crown.
On Sunday (Halloween), I was the Queen Of Halloween. I actually used 2 different costumes for this, one for work and one for my Halloween Party. I don't have a pic of what I wore to work, so I'll just describe what I wore to my Halloween party.
(All of which I bought at the Spirit Store I ran):I wore the plus size Widow's Web costume from My Size Disguise, but without the web collar, a jackolantern medallion, crown, plus size fishnets, an Elvira wig, and I carried my Thunderstaff (it was great, made thunder sounds and flashed like lightning!).
Halloween 1998 I was a biker
nun. I wore a nuns habit on my head, a black velvet dress, fishnets,
boots, and a leather jacket. My sister went as a psychedelic
butterfly, I found her these great rainbow wings that matched the tiedye
fishnets I got her the previous Xmas and suggested she make a costume based
on those two items. She added a fluffy pink tutu, a pastel shirt, and made
braids and stuck hangers through them to make them stand up like antennae.
Not to mention LOTS of glitter make up. You can't tell in the pic, but
she did a great job with her makeup.
Halloween 97 I had three different costumes.
Annie and I went on the Mt Hood Spook Train, and we kinda half-assed kitty
looks. At work (I was working at Circle K at the time) on Halloween, I
was Night Angel, an old
BBS handle of mine that I made a persona. I took some angel wings and hand
colored them black with a permanent marker, I had a plain black long-sleeved
leotard that I painted a moon and stars on the front in glow in the dark
paint and added glitter, and wore a long black lace skirt. Topped it off
with a silver angel halo. I didn't go to all this trouble for work, mind
you. I created the costume in 1993
or 94. Finally, at my Halloween party that evening I went as a vampire.
Same black velvet dress I wore as a biker nun, loooooong curly black wig,
vampire teeth and makeup. My husband, having learned some special FX makeup
skills when he attended horror conventions in L.A., did up his
arm all creepy.
Halloween 96 I was Angel
Of Death. Slight variation on Night Angel, I wore "creepy skin" make
up and skeleton gloves. That same year my husband tried out his make up
skills and make our friend Lenny "Road Rash Bob"
