Dazed & Confused©

Treading through thick thorough fog
Stepping where night slowly led
Fighting, walk through dark
Drifting lost in snow
Eyes searching for what shan’t be found

Stumbling slow, a cold blind mouse
Climbing up, for the next fall
And the fog be here
And the fog be there
Straining eyes see little known sight

Drifting snow, bombarding me
Laughing voice, echoing loud
So deep in my mind
These questions confined
Searching eyes see what isn’t there

Slap on the face from no hand
Foot in my face owned by none
In vain be this pain
Martyred for no cause
Color blind eyes see no judgement

People, I don’t understand
Their actions, so poorly used
Actions misleading
Actions misguiding
These blinded eyes have left me,
Lost cold, dazed and confused
