You look upon my eyes
And wonder why I cry
A dark depression at my side
Due to all that I have vainly tried
The wind gusts songs of mourning anew
Depressions I tried not to have pursue
Alone in the dark, I cry out on my cue
And so my mind begins to unglue
For life has thrown me a curve
Now coldness beckons me to swerve
Indifference makes me lose my nerve
I gaze upon the sea I’ll serve
Hear a voice distantly call
Far away, now I hear them all
Loving words I wished for do fall
Yet, now your words are void and null
Good-bye to them all indeed
Taking my final plunge I’m freed
Take me away, I’ve paid my fee
Slowly I lose my sanity!
