CALLING ALL FANS WITHIN THE BIG DAWG NATION

Once again it’s almost that time, the 2003 football season is fast approaching and your Central Florida Bulldog Club (CFBC) is ready for it. Let the tailgating, nail biting, friend gathering and Dawg howlin’ begin!!!

Club Goals, Direction, Purpose:

As we begin planning the events for the 2003 season, we are very excited about what lies ahead… and also what the future has in store for YOUR Central Florida Georgia Bulldog Club.  The formula for success requires the energy, ideas, and enthusiasm of its people.  Club Officers and Team Leaders are working hard for you. Such ways include enhancing club membership, promotion/participation/representation of the CFBC at official statewide fan club functions, attain official association with the University of Georgia, creation of off season functions, and updating the club’s web site on an immediate basis-just to name a few!

About the Club and how can I help?

Our club President, Ms. Jennifer Dymond has agreed to carry us through another year and we thank her for her time and dedication! Only this year she’ll have a little help.  With the addition club “Team Leaders” (John Slack, Steve Bunker, Pete Soloman, and Stacy Burwell), last season nominations were held for the office of Vice President.  The CFBC is glad to announce former Team Leader Bill Tomala was nominated!  Bill Tomala gladly accepted the nomination.  All the above-mentioned are officially here to address any questions or offer assistance throughout the 2003 season. We need your help and have lots to do!  Volunteers are ALWAYS welcome along with input and suggestions.  If you are interested, please contact the CFBC immediately via web site at www.bulldawgclub.org!

Same Meeting Place…New Ownership!

After much discussion, AND UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT, our game day meeting place will again be at CJ’s (Calico Jacks) on SR 436 in Casselberry, where UGA games will be televised. New General Manager David Angelo personally guaranteed better prices, food, and service compared to last season!   Please note certain non-televised games were available through pay-per-view, which we were able to purchase. Our hope is to be able to do this again, but we can’t be sure until the television schedule is released.

The 2003 membership drive has officially started!

Please remember that The Central Florida Bulldog Club is funded solely through membership dues and donations. The club will only be as successful as we make it. The raffles, prizes and CFBC merchandise purchased by club members are a necessary club funding requirement to offset the cost of game day food, Road Trip buses and other expenses. In the past the CFBC provided access to the raffles, food & other gameday offerings for guests of Club Members at no charge. However, due to rising costs associated with the club activities some minor changes are required for members & guests of members.
