Edrx's RedHat page

Brief opinion. I *HATE* RedHat. Here's how it happened: I tried to upgrade from RH4.2 (which was quite nice) to RH5.0 and I found that 5.0 had many, many, many, many, many, many, many bugs. For example, in its packaging of Emacs the "describe-function" command didn't work because the RH-boys forgot to package the DOC-xx.xx files. This bug was a very severe one, and yet it wasn't noticed immediately; so I got a picture on my mind of the RH development team as a group of about 2.5 vi freaks packing RPMs very fast with dollar signs on their eyes, and I decided to give Debian 1.3 a try. I had only a binaries CD, and though I'm a source code addict I fell in love with it immediately. I've been using Debian ever since and now I consider RH to be halfway between Debian and M$ in terms of quality. I admit that Debian is harder to install for the complete Linux newbie, but this should change in a near future, and I'm trying to do my part on it.
