It all started out with the 4 of us (Nicki,Evan,Whitney and Autumn) hanging out in Whitney's room. I believe it was the summer of 1998. Oh what a glorous summer that was! We were all hanging out in Whitney's room (*for some reason* Nicki's room was our usual hang out). When we were talking about how cool it would be if Hanson came out with a new cd. We then thought "What would it be called" So we started putting together words that first poped in our heads. Evan said "I bet it will have the word Pieces in it" Then Whitney said "I bet it will have the word Giant" in it. Then Autumn said "I bet it will have the word Space in it...you know the whole obsession with space and aliens" Then finaly it was Nickis turn to pick a word. She was pretty much out of something to say. When she just said "Of" So we all basicly put it together and here you have it: "GIANT PIECES OF SPACE."
So, okay that wasn't long, but that's basically the whole story behind the name. And it wasn't until later that we decided to make a webpage and call it Giant Pieces of Space.
