As you can see the generations below begin with my earliest ancestral grandmother for that particular line and works backwards to her furtherest ancestral grandfather. I chose to do it this way so that I could keep track of how many generations that surname comes down before changing due to marriage. 2.John Allen ELLIS was born on 17 Aug 1866 in , Cherokee, NC, died on 2 Nov 1955 in Coker Creek, Monroe, TN and was buried after 2 Nov 1955 in Upper Grave Yard; Coker Creek, Monroe, TN.



SECOND GENERATION


3. Adam KILBY was born on 18 Aug 1816 in , Haywood, NC, died on 9 Aug 1916 in , Monroe, TN and was buried on 10 Aug 1916 in Rural Vale Baptist Church; , Monroe, TN.

4. Malinda WILSON was born about 1822 and was buried in Rural Vale Church Cemetery; , Monroe, TN. Another name for Malinda was Selenda\Selena WILSON.

5. Henry KILBY was born between 1779-1780 in , Wilkes, NC and died about 1856 in , Haywood, NC.

6. Mary Louise HARMON, she was born between 1779-1780 in , Wilkes, NC and died in , Haywood, NC.



FOURTH GENERATION

7. Michael KILBY was born about 1750 in , Culpeper, VA and died about 1799 in , Wilkes, NC.

8. Susannah "Sukey" BROWN was born about 1766 in Mulberry Creek, Wilkes, NC.
