History:When Warren's wings first ppeared, he strapped them down so no one could see, he was ashamed of what he was. But as time passed, he eventually came to enjoy flying through the skies of New York, and eventually even decided that he could generate some good from it as a vigilanty crime fighter, and even took on the name Avenging Angel. When Xavier offered Warren a chance to put his abilities towards a team effort, he accepted, and became one of the first five members of the X-Men. When Xavier recruited the second team, he left with the rest of the veteran X-Men. He was later kidnapped by Apocolypse, and transformed into Death, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocolypse. Angel eventually rebelled Apocolypse's control and went on to X-Factor with the rest of the original X-Men, and when the government santioned team was changed he went back to Xavier's institute to be a member of the X-Men once again.
