History:Colossus grew up on a small farm, but when his powers manifested, he got the typical prejudice that most mutants go through. When the original X-Men were kidnapped, Xavier offered Piotr the chance to be one of the X-Men and he accepted. Upon joining the X-Men, he met Kitty Pryde, and fell in love she fell for him.
When the X-Men died at the hands of Forge to defeat the Adversary, Roma brought them back to life,then transported them to Australia so they could live in peace for a while. Later, they ended up leaving Australia through the Seige Perilous, a magical gem that had the power to give anyone a second chance to live a life they might have had, had things been done differently. Colossus ended up a Peter Nicholas, a soho painter, from his love of art. He was later posessed by the Shadow King, but his mind then reverted to his Colossus persona. He later joined Excalibur after the death of his sister, Illyana, or Magick. He stayed with Excalibur until Captain Britain and Meggan were married, thus the group disbanded, and then returned to America and rejoined the X-Men.
