The ocean's soothing whisper, as evening turns to night,
I listen with contentment, my soul has taken flight.
The evening breeze is singing, a lullabye to me,
It whispers softly in my ear, touches my heart tenderly.
The ocean waves ebb from the shore, swirling as they go.
Peacefulness is in the wind, beneath the moon's bright glow.
Shallow waters quicken and bury neath the sand,
Leaving fragments of the sea, a treasure known to man.
My soul takes flight amidst the silence, golden moments known.
Quietly I dream a dream that others do not know.
Sitting in the silence, my thoughts float with the breeze,
A place to dream of memories, memories that belong to me.
