yeah, updates have been suckin. i'm blaming it on holiday stress. i'm on vacation till the 3rd, happy holidays.

so i finally went and saw 'bowling for columbine' this last weekend, and man, it was good. go see it. also, the place i saw it at was super cool. i had to drive up to providence to check it out, and the place i saw it (castle cinemas) has a bad ass set up. it's a normal movie theatre, except the seats are leather car seats that you can move around, and there's a waitstaff. you get a table and a little night light you can turn on, and when you turn it on a waiter will come over and help you. you can get anything from popcorn to chicken kiev... including beer and a full bar... and the whole thing is very cheap and fun. props to them.

sarah went to cuba today for six months.... and she counts as half of the friends i've made since i moved here. great. back to the fucking bar scene to meet more people. if anyone knows a solid way to meeting people in a new town, fill me in. it seems i get more shy every time i go out. i am going to detroit next week for the holidays, so that will be good. i already have two great friends there. ...this is just a rant because i can't shake the lonely feeling i have today. i've been here four months, and i'm not meeting a lot of people. blah.

well i got to work today at 6am because i thought i had to do something.... turns out it got postponed until 1150. nice. my work xmas party is today. i'm really not looking forward to this, but it's one of those things you just got to do. everyone is supposed to bring a wrapped gift and you just pick one randomly. i bought a coffee mug that you can plug into your car lighter so it keeps your drink warm. maybe i'll pick my own present.

yesterday i went through all of these pages and got rid of the junk html that was left on here. so now at least if you're trying to rip shit off from here, you won't be laughing at my shoddy web expertise. also alli sent me a javascript for me to use so i can help out my photography section. thanks alli.

this morning i ran into websites where people ask you to send them a buck. for nothing. the girl at savekaryn.com made 20 grand in 6 months. fuck me, that's nuts. so this is the new topic here at work today. is this all it takes? fuck it. good for them.

holy jeezus, it's a new layout... kinda. i like this one better, although there are a lot of pop-up pages. there's also a new CD review up... which can also be seen at my other online home sandiegopunk.

i just went into the bathroom to brush my teeth, and i pumped my soap onto my toothbrush instead of mentadent. even after hard scrubbing i can taste soap in my mouth. fuck me, this sucks. genious as always.

my cat has been acting psycho all day. he won't stop meowing, and he's been petted, fed, and played with constantly. i don't know what his deal is.

some spring cleaning finally got done on here. also i added more of megan's photo's in the photography section. someone give me a scanner.

i just got done teaching a class on plotting fires and damage casualties. 9 people showed up out of a possible 40. i can't say i blame the people that didn't go... i don't pick the lectures, and this was a boring one. still i put a lot of effort into it to make it interesting and no one showed up. my boss was there though and he complimented me, so i guess that's all that matters.

so i went a week without my computer being on. that's how hectic work was last week. i started work at around 6am and got home around 8pm for most of the week.

this weekend was pretty fun..... with the exception of 19 degree weather and an inch of ice on my winshield and six inches of snow on top of that. i went out with mike and we got shitty. i got handed a phone number from a cute eighth grade p.e. teacher. when did i go from being the kid to possibly dating teachers? well, probably a little while ago, it just kind of struck me as interesting that i'm old enough to do about anything, but i still look at other "adults" as superior.

my mom read my review on sandiegopunk and told me that i shouldn't say shit so much, but besides that she liked it. thanks, mom. speaking of reviews, i'm slacking..... i got 3 more new cd's from joel to review and i've only listened to one of them...once. expect there to be new ones up shortly. just keep hitting refresh.
