But enough of you two fool’s. I want to know….. Where are the rest? Where are the others? Why haven’t they showed up? Are they even coming to the game? Will they show their face‘s? ~{Cameras are set in a all to familiar scene. It is at the legendary Viking Hall. Home for many year’s to the most hardcore and extreme federation known to man UWWF. The cameras are in the front lobby area. You see a poster hanging on the wall with a picture of Jeremy Clarkson on it holding the Ultimate Hardcore Cup Trophy. The poster is advertising the second Ultimate Hardcore Cup. A man sits on one of the wooden benches and as the camera comes closer the man is none other than Joey Styles, the lead play by play man for XCW. Joe is dressed in his usual business suit and has on a brown trench coat. Joey sits there and look’s around.}~

Styles: Good lord Van X,….

~{Styles seems nervous and twitches around for a moment. He then rises to his feet. He walk’s over towards the bathroom area and reaches into his pocket. He pull’s out his cell phone and dials a number. As he is standing there listening for the phone to ring you suddenly hear another phone ringing inside the bathroom.}~

RING

~{Styles gets this stunned and scared look in his eyes. He slowly turns towards the bathroom door and look’s at it for a minute. You hear the phone ringing again.}~

~{Styles slowly reaches over and pushes the door to the men’s bathroom open. It’s pitch black dark in there and as he walk’s in you can hear the phone ringing again.}~

~{As Styles reaches over with his right hand and flip’s on the light switch he almost pisses all over himself as from around the corner someone jump’s out and yell’s at him.}~

CVX: WHAT ARE YOU DOING!

~{Styles trip’s over his own two feet and his cell phone goes flying across the floor. As he turns and look’s up Chris Van X is standing above him laughing his head off. Joey gets a irritated look in his face as he begins to get to his feet.}~

Styles: Dammit Chris,

CVX: Shit son that was funny, You should have saw the look on your face Styles. It was priceless.

~{Joey Styles seems far from amused, he wipes his hands off on his jacket, then leans down and grabs his cell phone. He is checking to see if it got messed up while Van X is still laughing at him.}~

Styles: You really do choose the worst places to do interviews at you know.

CVX: Oh stop crying, You said you wanted a real sit down interview with me….. Well you got one!

Styles: This is bullshit Van X. I wanted the interview under my conditions, not yours!

CVX: Oh stop your whining, What’s your condition? Besides that fact you’re a bit scared?

Styles: Somewhere with some light! Somewhere out in public. Maybe at a diner or restaurant or a city park for that matter.

CVX: Alright, You got it let’s go.

~{Styles look’s up at Chris Van X with a shocked look on his face. Van X who had positioned himself on the sink jump’s off and motions for Styles to leave.}~

Styles: Are you serious?

CVX: Of course I am. You saved my ass back at Crossing the Lines with that cop. I say lets go wherever you want.

Styles: Alright, why don’t you follow me down to the Dollar Burger house and we can do it down there.

CVX: Alright lead the way.

~{Styles takes off out of the bathroom and head’s towards the exit. Chris Van X slowly walk’s behind him and by the time he gets outside of Viking Hall Joey Styles is already in his car. Chris walks over to his truck and jump’s in. The two vehicles leave the parking lot and the scene slowly fades out for a minute. After a few moments the camera angle is now at the Dollar Burger and you see both men sitting down at a table. Both men have a tray in front of them and Chris Van X has about four burgers on his.}~

Styles: Hungry Chris?

CVX: Just a little, your wife didn’t have a chance to fix my lunch since you where coming home early.

Styles: Funny Chris,…..Real Funny.

~{Chris tears into one of his burgers and begins to chew away on it. Joey Styles pull’s out a small tape recorder and a pad of paper. He then pull’s out a pen from his pocket and then look’s up at Chris who is taking a sip of his drink.}~

Styles: Well let me first ask you this,…..What made you finally decide to make a run at the Worlds Title after months of what many have called “Being a mid carder”?

CVX: Well Styles if you had listened to me the last time I spoke you would already know this. But I guess that with you being you I couldn’t expect much of you. But it’s about me, it’s about Chris Van X and it’s about the bottom line.

Styles: What is the bottom line though?

CVX: It’s one of those thing’s that no one can understand until they reach it. It’s more about personal gratification than anything. But someday Joey you will know.

Styles: What do you think about the way Acid left?

CVX: That goes back to the bottom line there. Acid reached his bottom line, he had accomplished everything he ever wanted to accomplish. There was nothing lacking that he could see. So he left, Acid reached his bottom line…… However I do think a real man who have stayed and stood up to defend his gold. But be it as it may he didn’t. That’s something he will have to live with.

Styles: Well casting Acid aside Jeremy Clarkson put his devious mind to work and created a octagon shaped hell. What are your thoughts on this match?

CVX: Well the match in itself isn’t meant to be easy or meant to be fun. I fully believe that Repent wanted to make sure than whoever was the next champion had to earn it. He wanted to make sure they went through hell to get it and that they would rise up and become worthy. As much as my personal feelings make me hate everything that man does you can’t fault him for setting the bar high.

Styles: Well Chris I am sure you are well aware of what you are getting yourself into,….five opponents, Let’s break down the match man by man. First up the man who got into the match first Slayer. What are your thoughts on him and what are his chances of winning?

CVX: Chances of winning? They are slim, they are worse than the chance of the Houston Texans making it to the Super Bowl. My thoughts on him? I think he has squeaked by a few wins here and there. He got extremely lucky over Acid twice. He has talked some serious game so far. But has Slayer stood up and proved himself to anyone? Has he been proven worthy of this spot he was given? No! Slayer hasn’t done shit in this business to prove anything. He’s some geek off the street who doesn’t deserve the horse shit he steps in. Slayer is walking into something bigger than him and it’s something he will regret ever doing,

Styles: Let’s skip over a few names and go with the man that many thought would be the next “Acid” or even some stated the next Jesse Gunn . I am referring to the Team Clarkson member of Kash. What are your thoughts on him and on his chances.

CVX: Well Kash has something that none of these other men have. He has the guidance of Jeremy Clarkson. I of course have something that none of these other men have and that’s a win over Jeremy Clarkson. But Kash is not ready for something like this. He just left the sinking ship called WWA and is coming into a much bigger boat…… It’s a bit like leaving a small yacht to come aboard a cruise liner. While he may have been one of the important people on the yacht. Over here on the cruise liner he is middle class at best. He chances are even slimmer than Slayer…. He’s more like the Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA…..Everyone knows you don’t stand a chance and we all wonder why you try anyways.

Styles: Well many people can agree with you there on your comments for Kash and Slayer. Some have stated that there is two different worlds in this match. There is the dreamers which consist of Slayer and Kash. Then there is the reality bunch which is the remaining bunch. So let’s go at them. First up, another former WWA man Dante.

CVX: One of the faithful WWA men. When Clarkson gave ‘Mare the boot Dante watched his friend fly right out the window……But Dante isn’t exactly one of those guys you would look to if you ever needed someone to watch your back. I think as a person Dante is a coward. He lacks the ball’s to step up like a man. But I also think Dante play’s the game better than most. I know that when the bell ring’s he will be one major factor in that match. But Dante is not going to play a extremely important role in this match. Hell the last time Dante even had a title shot he didn’t show up. So I don’t think he is worried about winning. Dante might pose a threat for a little while. But when it’s all said and done he will be one of the ones headed to the back early.

~{Chris has polished away all four burgers of his burgers and is eating away on his fry’s Joey has barely taken a bite off of his food and look’s at Chris in amazement.}~

Styles: You want another burger?

CVX: No thanks, Don’t want over eat.

~{Joey lets a smile out as he takes a bite of his own food. Chris finishes off his fry’s then leans back in his seat. He takes a swallow of his soda as he look’s around and sees the no smoking sign.}~

CVX: Let’s hurry this up, I want to grab a smoke.

Styles: Well there is two men left, You have faced both of these men before. You know what they are capable of. Let’s start with Cyrus. What do you think about him and what are his chances of winning?

CVX: I think Cyrus’ time came too soon. His chance to be at the top came and went and passed him by. He didn’t get the chance to be all he could be because by the time he was capable of staying at the top it was all over. Cyrus was a great fighter. He was a great man to have by your side. But Cyrus is nothing now. He’s not ready to come back to the main stage. Cyrus will show up and fight. He will put forth a great effort. But Cyrus is lacking one of the most important aspects of this match, he is lacking the determination and the will power. Cyrus isn’t focused, Cyrus isn’t ready. Cyrus will be defeated….

Styles: Then there was one….. The first champion of the final breath. The man who has made it very public since his return that he is going for the world’s title. Titan,…..Chris same question as the others. But remember this place closes is a few hours so make it short.

CVX: Well Joey like Titan’s world’s title run I will make it short. Titan stand’s zero chance of winning. When the bell has sounded and at whichever point our two chains are released into the match at the same time, you can bet your last dollar that I will be making sure his over sized jolly green giant ass will be put down on the mat. Titan I promise you this, You will not walk out of House of Chains with the XCW Worlds Heavyweight Championship. No matter what it take’s I will stand up to you and take whatever you can bring son. Because when it comes down to it. Your ass isn’t big enough to stand face to face with the King. I’ve beaten bigger, faster, stronger, smarter and a lot better men than you. You will be no different than any other fool I have beaten. I will beat you Titan. I will hurt you….. Do not question that simple fact. Titan when the dance begins…… Can you last until the end? I seriously doubt you will Titan.

Styles: Well Chris even though you have made it very obvious, I still will ask you…… Who do you think will walk away from House of Chains as the new XCW World Heavyweight Champion?

CVX: Joey from the moment Jeremy Clarkson announced the match you knew it, I knew it, Clarkson knew it and everyone in the back knew it. Some are more willing to admit it than others. But it’s a simple fact……. Chris Van X will walk out of House of Chains with the XCW Worlds Title. It’s simple.

~{Joey reaches over and cuts off the tape recorder. He finishes dotting his I’s and crossing his T’s and then finally pop’s his pen back in his pocket. He look’s up at Chris and smiles.}~

Styles: Van X you sure as hell are one cocky son of a bitch.

CVX: Joey I have every right to be.

Styles: Oh yea, Why’s that?

CVX: Joey I earned everything I have gotten so far. And I have stood up against anyone who has come against me. After House of Chains there wont be any doubt in anyone’s mind that I am simply the greatest.

Styles: Well I guess we’ll see now wont we?

CVX: Damn right we will Styles, now if you’ll excuse me. I got to get my nicotine.

~{Chris rises from the table and begins to walk to the doors. As he swings the door open and digs in his pocket for his keys. He unlocks his truck and climbs inside. He cranks it up then begins to back out. As he begins to drive down the road he look’s at the camera.}~

CVX: As the clock ticks down and the weeks turn to days, and the days to hours and the hours to minutes everyone is anxiously awaiting this match. Most importantly six men are waiting for the chance to become the champion. Kash, Dante, Slayer, Cyrus, Titan it’s not going to be fun. It’s going to be hard, bloody, painful, and full of sorrow for five men…… but for one man,….. Just one man it will be glorious. It will be the greatest achievement for that one man. Make no mistake about it guys. It will be a night for the ages. It will be a crowning moment for one man. It will be historical…….Gentlemen I say to you……Let the dance begin.

~{Chris look’s at the camera for a moment with a long daze. He then takes a drag off his cigarette. The camera fades as you see his truck pull off into the night.}~
