This two story Craftsman style home was built around 1925 for Cornelius T. “Rich” Richardson. It features a gabled front porch with tapered columns on brick piers, tiled roofs, wide eaves with exposed rafters and support brackets, bay windows and two different siding treatments.
Richardson was an administrator for Carnation Milk and was transferred to the company's Hillsboro condensery in 1917. He served as manager of the local operation from 1932 to 1957. He also served as Rotary president in 1935-1936 and, during World War II, he was the civil defense director for the city and war bonds sale chairman.
