This small family burial ground now lies between two houses at the end of a cul-de-sac in a residential neighborhood off of SE Witch Hazel Road. Reportedly, this was a lost cemetery. It's existence had faded from memory and the headstones were hidden under vegetation and brambles until being rediscovered when this land was cleared for development. A wrought iron fence has been erected to protect the graves.
The extant headstones are for Benjamin Stewart (born April 10, 1795; died May 19, 1856), Elizabeth Stewart (born March 3, 1790; died October 27, 1864) and Sara A. Thomas (née Stewart) who died October 3, 1867 and had been the wife of John L. Thomas.
