The Humanities Center is an instructional unit of the School of
Humanities and Languages, and offers multiple support
services to all students enrolled at Irvine Valley College. The Center's primary function is to assist students with reading and writing assignments, not only from English classes but also from any class that the college offers. To this end, the Center provides a combination of resources designed to offer students a comfortable place to relax and study, with a range of materials close at hand.
The Humanities Center is dedicated to the meanings and values
common to humanistic fields and methods, in particular,
to the mastery of reading and writing as the fundamental means of inquiry.
