Pink Slip, like many other bands, started as
a “garage band”. They practiced almost everyday
at Anna’s house until 6:00 pm or as long as Tess,
Anna’s mom, allowed them. If Dr. Coleman wanted to
the “noise” to stop, she simply turned the garage’s
electricity off and sent everyone home.
One lucky day they got an audition at the
House of Blues. If they were sucessful they would
be taken as the band in Wango Tango. After many
problems they were finally able to get there and
made a great performance. The public showed their
support with thousands of cheers. After many curious
and almost unbelievable events, Tess accepted that
her daughter’s “noise” was real music after all.
The band recorded two songs, “Take Me Away”
and “Ultimate”, both included in the “Freaky Friday”
soundtrack. Pink Slip’s most recent performance
was at Dr. Coleman’s wedding.
