GROWING UP
On December 30, 1976 my family: Tony, Julie and brother, Rance,

were blessed with my arrival and I was raised in Tigard, Oregon. I attended Charles F. Tigard Grade School, Fowler Middle School and Tigard High, graduating in 1995. I graduated from George Fox University, Newberg, OR in 1999 with a BA degree in Spanish.

MY CALLING
As a member of Rolling Hills Community Church, Tualatin, Oregon, I grew up learning about God and missions. I acccepted Christ and was baptised at a young age. My high school youth group went on several short term mission trips and I took part. From my experiences as a leader for the RHCC missions trip to Oaxaca, Mexico in August, 2000, I desired to be on the receiving end in a country that hosts mission teams.

I knocked on the door of OC International (Overseas Crusades) and was accepted to be a part of their STEP (Summer Team Evangelism Program) outreach for a 15 month committment beginning June 8, 2001. My schedule is:

• June - August, 2001: participate with 4 college students from around the U.S. in Guatemala.
  
• September - December, 2001: work with a traveling team in the Pacific Northwest in recruiting young people for OC opportunities.
  
• January - August, 2002: help coordinate STEP, take a new team of students throught this exciting cross cultural experience and return to the U.S.

I look forward to the adventures God has in store for me at the end of this assignment.
