STEPPIN' HOME!
We made it! Two months of extreme adventures have come to an end. My team-mates and I have grown so much. I personally did things that I never imagined I could do. I helped translate and lead music during our kid's programs. Andy did a great job at leading out with his guitar for praise and worship during our evening programs. Jen was wonderful interacting with the kids despite not knowing Spanish. Steph was amazing with giving her testimony and getting the kids involved with the games.
We all came home with a greater knowledge of how nothing was done with our own strength. We needed each other and most of all we needed the Lord every moment. I am so thankful for their urgency on praying before every program and before we went to bed each night. I will truly miss them as my journey continues.
So, on to the next adventure!
I will be journeying down to San Francisco with Rebecca Batin from Caleb Project for training. From there I will leave with a travel team for recruiting. We will go along the West Coast! I'll do my best to get in contact with most of you. We'll do dramas as well as one-on-one presentations to motivate students for short-term missions. I will be promoting OC's STEP program. I hope to wet the appetitie of a large group for next summer!
Thank you all for your continued prayers for safety and protection. It is always needed no matter where I am. I also keep you close at heart and thank God for you all. Can't wait to see you soon!
