Why
There are two (2) purposes of this assignment.:
ONE, to familiarize you with the Sociological Resources available on the Internet. There is a vast amount of information on a great variety of sociological topics, sociology itself, and realities which can be understood sociologically. Awareness of this (as well as for other subjects and disciplines) can aid you immensely in your educational endeavors.
TWO, to allow you to research and learn about the Components of American Society we cover in this course...according to your own interests.
WRITTEN PART---75 Points
What
You should explore the internet and select two (2) sites related to EACH of the Components...ONE for "detailed" analysis and ONE for "short" description. There are seven (7) Components...so you'll select fourteen (14) sites total.

You will be giving a short (10 minutes at the most) oral presentation to the class about your Internet Assignment research. It should consist of:
