OUR CULTURE, OUR HISTORY, OUR FREEDOM
The Orange Order is one of three Loyal Orders, so what does this mean? It means we are Loyal to our Queen, our country and to our Protestant culture. We express this loyalty through our music and our traditions. At a time when our culture is seriously under threat from the Pan-nationalist front, and the elected Government of our country panders on bended knee to convicted Republican terrorists, the Orange Order will always stand up for their beliefs and religious freedoms.
It is this religious freedom that we celebrate as we march through the streets of our cities and towns in commemoration of William, Prince of Orange, and his victory over the dark forces of James at the Battle of the Boyne. A victory which guaranteed the rights of a Protestant people to honour their religion, free from the threats of torture and death from a Papacy intent on eradicating all traces of free, spiritual thinking.
Our culture is under threat, never make the mistake of believing that we will always be safe. Even today, the elected representatives of the people of this district, would happily see all Orange Lodges and bands forced from the streets. Lodges in the neighbouring town of Coatbridge had to take the council to court after that council tried to deprive them of their rights. Needless to say, the Lodges won, their rights were restored and the Roman Catholic overlords of this area were left to stew in their own juices.
Support the Orange Order, support your religion and support your Queen and country, by turning out wherever Orange Parades may be held. Let your elected representatives see that you are proud of the culture our forefathers laid down their lives for, let them know that religious freedom is a right for all, not just for those who follow a discredited Papacy. Remember your heritage as a Protestant, and your right to celebrate your Protestantism by marching the streets of your Protestant country, presided over by a Protestant Monarchy.
