Bintulu new airport located 23km to the south of Bintulu. It is the top airport in our state because of its long runway. It has the length of 2745 meter compared to Miri. Which has only 2103 meter. It also has the width 23 Meter (valued about RM385 million). There are 302 vehicles that can be parked in one time at the parking section of the aiport. It was completed a year ahead of schedule by Global Upline Sdn Bhd headed by businessman Tan Sri Ting Pek Khiing.
The present airport in the heart of the town could only taken in Fokker aircraft.
