The Horse

Brightsy is my very special baby, named after my all time favourite song, but with his personality, he really suits it . He was imported from Sweden at a very young age and we have been together ever since.
I spoiled him a bit , but who couldn't? A very happy , leggy foal witha big white blaze and stockings! aww

Now he has turned into a big , spectacular and talented stallion retaining his beautiful long muscley legs and growing into a very athletic body toped with elegant arched neck and intelligent noble head.

He truely has a one of a kind personality of a kind personality and is probably the most loved horse on the farm. Always happy and quite a trickster he just loves to have fun and mess around with people.
A fav trick of his is sneaking up behind people (especially stangers leaning against his stall) and breathing into their ear. While their freaking out , he's standing there happily nodding.
He is probably my favourite horse as we have been togeher the longest and have the strongest bond, his talent is enormus.

The Athlete

Just by looking at Brightsy you can tell how much of a competitor he is, his body just yells success.
His main strength is jumping, whether it be in just show jumping or partnered with eventing.
his jump has a great deal of scope and height and he truely has a passion for it.
This backs up his eventing very well as he has the build, speed and fitness to shine in Cross Country as some warmbloods can stuggle in this as they dont have the speed, but Brightsy has the body type similar to a thoroughbred.
His dressage at the moment needs some work as he is too immature and playful to concentrate fully, but his breeding and movemnt show, that with age, will become fantastic.
When it does come down to competing how ever, he does concentarte and always gives it his all, because he truely does enjoy it, and this is perhaps the most importanat quality in a winning horse.

The Stud

Mr Brightside, regardless of my bias would be my first choice as a stud if I were an outside owner/rider looking for a one of a kind special show jumping eventing horse with that charming fun personality that would grown with me and remain for ever.
He would pass on definitly his conformation, looking a lot like his father Vermouth, his foals would have his lines renound height and elegant arched necks and charming noble heads - just look at his fathers pictures to see resemblance
He is a bit lighter than his sire however and would athleticise any mare to give the foal a sportier, lighter frame suitable for Cross Country.
He does however retain his wondering markings from his dams side as his dams parents both looked exactly like Brightsy, coloration wise, so the foal is likely to have stockings and/or a blaze
As the jumping strength runs in the family, his foal would probably be more suited to that discipline, but dressage certainly cannot be counted out with his elegant movement and suspension.
